I’m Keiyana Roberts, Cake Artist/Owner of The Sweet Canvas Co. I’m 36, a mommy to the most beautiful little baking assistant “The Cool Kid” Miss. Averie Dalliss! I grew up in Lancaster, TX Go Tigers! Proud Texas State University graduate, with a Bachelors of Healthcare Administration and 10 yrs of Human Resources experience. 

Now, how the heck did i start baking???? 

Well I’ve always been an eclectic, artsy, crafty girl and out of my sweet tooth curiosity I started baking. I self taught myself the craft of cupcakes and fondant sculpting and fell all the way in love!!! I was given the opportunity to be on the Food Networks CUPCAKE WARS! Season 7 episode 4 to be exact. Being on National TV changed my business dynamic drastically. And I have been riding the wave ever since! 

Formally known as Krème de la Cupcake (8 yrs) my business has transformed into something new! More than I could imagine and re-branding was the only way to go! Not only do we offer cupcakes we have added cakes, wedding cakes, cakesicles and donuts. We offer private one on one session to the cake artist ready to take their business to the next level! We’ve added staff and connected with Dallas/FT worth on a different level!
